MTE ( miles to empty feature ) quick note

hi all just enabled the MTE feature on my galaxy mk2, x-reg, 2000, 1.9tdi 115ps. (phew). A quick note to all that get a vag tacho cable and try this. When I read the previous post by Mirez on how to do this, I noted that in my binary value it was C9 not C1,,,,,,,,,,,,, no ooooooooooo,, but a little research showed me that early mk2s pre 2003 have an older eerpom so the value is C9. I took the leap of faith and changed it from C9 to E9 and and can confirm it works fine.   Although I will say its crap compaired to my sierra ghia estate D reg and that was bang on lol

Interesting point! Thanks for sharing that, I'll amend the how-to and congratulations on getting it working!

Dont forget its a VW cluster though and VW MTE/Range functions have always been a little, well "soft" at best lol.
