Front & rear suspension noises ...

I have a 2003 Galaxy 1.9Tdi.

Front - I replaced my front struts, top mounts and the anti-rollbar bushes - the control arms and stabilisers are 1 year old. Now I have a knock on the near side when I turn and go over a bump at the same time. I also have a  rubber sqeak and soft knock when I turn the wheel - both sides. The ride is in general smooth and quiet, even in the lanes.

Rear - I have a continuous knock coming from the back suspension and I have no idea what it can be. The shocks are a year old. The anti-roll bar bushes are new. The knock felt like it was just above the roll-restrictor support, so I replaced that and all it's bolts. The noise is now less pronounced but still there.

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Front, did you change the bearing assy from the top mount and did you tighten it up with the car back on the ground? Have you changed the ball joint from the lower suspension?

Rear, there isn't a roll restrictor on the rear - It's just the anti roll bar... do you mean the axle mountimg block?

Front - Did not change the lower ball joint, but did replace the bearing assy on the top mounts. I did tighten the nuts with the car on the ground - will check/re-tighten now.

Rear - what I replaced is called the "Hub Carrier Bush" in the invoice or "Rear Subframe Bush" on the site - which is probably the rear axel mounting block.

Ok, well front ball joints can certainly cause squeeks and knocks when going bad so might be worth cbecking them out as they are cheap and easy enough to change.

It's curious the noise diminished when you changed that, it would indicate its maybe being transmitted through this point into the cabin. Have you tried a pry bar on the trailing arm bushes to see if ones on the way out? Its a simple enough system tbh on the rear so yiu should be able to find the cause by levering about ;)
