Hi, I ask previously about replacing the oil filter on my galaxy mk2 petrol (Basically where is it located)I was sent to a tdi engine,are they in the same place in the engine then?

No there not exactly in the same place but as you need to remove the undercover (4 bolts 2 nuts) to access the sump plug, you will have easy access to the filter.
