Fancy name for horn honking when you press the remote lock button twice. It's an option in the Central Configuration menus via Forscan, but selecting it accomplishes nothing. No honk. I though I heard it's not allowed in the EU, but I'm in Switzerland so maybe I wouldn't get in trouble for having it. On sunny days I can't see the flashers blink when the doors lock, so I always need to go back and check. A short honk would be useful.

Any clues to the legality and how to activate?

I used to have that feature on a Saab. It was very handy if I couldnââ,¬â,,¢t find the car in a car park because the remote used to work from miles away.

Honk honk! The car would go.

Hereââ,¬â,,¢s hoping a similar feature exists for the MK2 Alhamb.
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.

The answer may be in trying to alter the As-Built settings;

726-16-01
xxXx xx
0=disable double honk
1=enable double honk

I'm trying the change on my 2017 S-Max later today
