Smax pre 2010 software update from Ford

Has anyone managed to get a software update from Ford on their 06-2010 Smax?

If so how did you do get it done/agreed, was there any charge?

Or issue is random battery drain, 2010, tdci manual.
Local garage cant find any fault, local Ford dealer said this car is not due any software updates.

I have a 2007 Galaxy TDCi that had similar problems a few years ago, about 2014.  The local Ford dealer could not find a fault although I suspected a faulty cell in the battery.  To cut a long story short, the dealer eventually fitted a replacement battery FREE OF CHARGE !   :)

That battery lasted six years and I had it replaced recently by a local garage, not a Ford dealer!!  ::)
