Hi has anyone had a problem with the engine malfunction light coming on while slowing down ( overrun) code reader saying no codes stored ?
Thanks

What code reader did you use? Some generic ones only give the emission related ones and not manufacturer specific

Interesting. Code comes on while slowing down. Hmm. Virtually impossible to tell without a code. Turbo over lost (sticky actuator) maybe? But could be literally anything, literally anything at all.

Does the car go into limp mode by the way please sir.
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.

He used a snap on one Johnny ..does it need a specific reader ?

Not sure how comprehensive the snapon readers are but forscan will give more information as it has all the Ford specific codes also you can plot live data while fault is actually active to see whatââ,¬â,,¢s amiss

Thanks Johnny Iââ,¬â,,¢ll have a look at forscan 👍

Hi Johnny
Bought myself a forscan and itââ,¬â,,¢s found a fault ..p2297.21.2F  signal amplitude less than minimum ?
The oxygen sensor was replaced a few weeks ago with the dpf  any ideas please ?
