Hi,
Noticed today a clicking coming from the front centre console.First i thought it was the cd player.on closer inspection it was coming from the 3 round vents. When i change the flow direction,it makes a sound like clucking, mis alinement.I used a torch and can see the flaps miving but they juddering.is there any easy access or any way i can lubrucate them. Its fine niw but concerned it coukd get worse. Thanks

Could you spray a bit of silicone lubricant down there? I find that silicone lubricant is excellent for stopping plastic catching and sticking against plastic

Ive used silcone spray on dashboard to stop sqeeks in past, but not to sure if its safe to spray inside of vent

Good point, could you call the number on the back of the can and I expect they will have a technical helpline who will be able to confirm (maybe look at a can in the shop and call before buying).. fingers crossed

It will be fine using silicone spray on the vents as they are only plastic.

Hi all,i used spray but the bloody sstraw shoot off and went into vents . So now im trying to find out if i can just tske the vents iff without dismantkeing the dash.i can see straw  but cannit hook it.

Could you fish the straw out by sticking a coat hanger wrapped with sellotape (sticky side on the outside) to try and stick on to it so you can pull it back out
