Really cant use to speedo figures on clock going up in 20s not 10s. No 30 mph or 70mph.Ive resorted to putting silver mark on screen for the 30. Can i just reove the plastic screen without removing the whole clock.I could then mark it properly.

No you will need to remove the whole instrument cluster to get the plastic cover off.

Why the bloody hell dud they do this with the speedo. All my cars i had always went up in 10

Itââ,¬â,,¢s quite common on fords I drive a tranny at work thatââ,¬â,,¢s the same,itââ,¬â,,¢s got a line at 30 though has yours not got that?
Also on the trip computer it has speed on there so gives a digital read out

What I want to know is why the speedo goes up to 150mph even though the car can only do about 100mph
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.
