SMax dvd player not working....disc stuck and screen constantly says "loading"

Hi, My dvd player is stuck (with disc inside I believe).  Have pressed every single button but nothing budges.  Screens come on, but just says "loading....".  Is there an obvious thing to try or do I need to take it to a car entertainment repair type place?  Thanks.

Other than cutting power to it for a minute or so by unplugging,removing fuse or disconnecting battery I would say needs specialist attention as suspect it is an internal fault

dunno about your unit,but on some there is a little hole that you can push a pin into that will release the disc?
