Aftermarket speakers (adapters needed?) | Ford Galaxy Mk2

Hi, I have fitted a sub woofer to my galaxy Mk2, so now of course next on the list is some aftermarket speakers!..

I just want to know if the front/rear door speakers need adapters plates for fitting aftermarket speakers? (I'm sure they'll need the usual adapter wires)

I have searched and searched and found some vauge info and would prefer not to take the doorcards on and off multiple times if I can help it!

For anyone interested I am looking to fit Pioneer TS-G170C speakers (Ã,£36.45 new & delivered 2018) to the front and rear doors.

front and rear doors are 6.5" component speakers I believe!

thank you!

In case it helps anyone else... I went ahead and ordered the speakers and speaker adapter wires on a whim, it turns out unlike old fiestas, the galaxy doesn't need speaker adapter plates/brackets, aftermarket speakers will just screw straight in to the factory screw holes with the original screws. (deeper speakers may need spacers between the door and the speaker so that the window glass etc. doesn't hit on the back of the speaker.

So in conclusion:
- You don't need speaker adapter plates/brackets at all unlike an old fiesta etc.
- You will need wire adapters to make it plug and play (Search for CT55-VW01 (See attached photo).
