Hi my Galaxy's headlights have stopped working, I have got side lights rear lights and main beam flash, but no dipped beam or main headlight using steering column switch. My thoughts were its either a relay problem or the light switch itself is faulty. The only problem is I cannot find any mention of a relay associated with the headlights.
Anybody got any ideas.
I have got a Mk 2 Gal with the 3 tier fusebox.

If fuses 59 & 60 are okay then it's likely the switch is u/s, to check for power open fuse box, at the side of the fuses 59-62 check the connector with a multimeter, your looking for power on pin 8 (white/black wire) with the light switch set to low/dipped beam and ign on. If you have power then check pins 5 & 7 (yellow & yellow/black) if you have power here as well, your bulbs have blown.
My other car is a 480 hp Volvo.

Thanks will give it a try later
