Hello again. It seems i have to replace my automatic gearbox, on my 2.3 petrol Y Reg MK2 Galaxy. Does anyone know if a replacement from a Mondeo will fit? or one from a galaxy diesel? They all are listed as being the same namely a Jatco. JF506E. The same gearbox/part number also seems to go in Land Rover, Rover, Jaguar, and of course VW's. When I call breakers, they quote reasonable prices for Mondeo parts, but as soon as I say Galaxy, they seem to take a deep breath, rub their hands together, and double or treble the prices. Any help here will be greatly appreciated. Eddie
