My Drivers window seems to have gone out of sink on the electric runner. Sometimes when i click it so it goes auto up it will reach the top and then come back down a little way.

Any ideas?

Sounds like its lost its home or "up" position. Press and hold the first stage to close the window and then, when its fully closed, release and then press up to the second stage. This will teach it where the home position is and how much current it needs to "see" the motor taking to get there.

my window has started this hold button to close and it closes then straight away goes down half way then if i push button to close again it goes up and stops just before fully closing hen a third press closes it, pretty frustrating to be honest especially when driving any help would be great thanks

Sounds like you have the same problem, its lost its home position. Try the above and report back...

i would also lube the window/door runners with something like silicone spray/grease just in case the glass is holding.

Holding the bottom cause the window to go up then down a second press puts it just off the top then a third gets it there , so when u say first stage am I doing the above to find the home position then pressing and holding a second time to set it??

Humm, slighly confused lol.

You need to set both the upper and lower home positions for the auto functions to work correctly. Press and hold the switch to the second notch (the auto down position) hold it until the window is fully down then release and the press it to the second notch once more but briefly this time - This should set the lower position. Now lift the switch to the second notch (the auto up position) and hold it until the window it fully closed, release it and the briefly press it to the second notch once more - this should set the upper position.

What we are doing here is telling the control module how much current the motor uses when its driving a stalled window and how long it takes - if the control module detects the motors current draw getting close (or exceeding) this value during the close then it rolls back the window assuming something is trapped and preventing close. This is why you need to set both the lower and upper limits.

If it rolls back during learning then the current is excessively high so you'd need to look at the seals and/or mechanism to try and find whats causing the resistance.
