Pop the rubber cover off top of condenser where the receiver/dryer cartridge lives just to right of drivers headlight. I will hazard a guess and say it is leaking past the cap seals due to corrosion you will most likely find crusty UV due stained gunk in there.

of it is not corroded and just leaking you may get away with new dryer cartridge and cap,but if corroded new condenser will be required.

as the man says
that's how I found mine
new dryer aprox 25 quid

condenser aprox Ã,£60 with the new dryer already in

Checked the parts as advised no corrosion or any sign of leak in fact looks new so perhaps some one has already changed it have looks at every visible pipe and joint cant see any leak or corrosion beginning to think maybe its leaking behind dash? if so won't bother as not taking dash apart

Get an air can spevialist to have a look at it,they will pressurise with nitrogen to locate leak.

Been done perhaps I did not explain fault very well if I have system pressurised it runs fine and holds pressure BUT very slowly over a period of weeks it loses pressure and stops working it does not lose all its pressure just enough for switch to drop out and turn system off maybe it would if left long enough we are not talking a few days but 7 or 8 weeks so can only be a small leak I just hoped some one had a similar fault will shove some stop leak in it and leave as is

Did you use a bit of soapy water on the condenser cap to check for bubbles? With the rate of leak on yours I would imagine only get an odd bubble every now and then.
Pressure testing with nitrogen is very effective, the system is pressurised and all joints etc are sprayed with leak spray that will show up even small leaks.
We use it on trains that lose fridge over a period of time and 99% of the time nitrogen and leak spray identifies the leak

System should be running with a dye in it. If not get some put in and run it . Dye show up under ultra violet light which your fridge up should have in his tool kit as a norm

The pipes are also prone to corrosion where they pass along the chassis to the bulkhead they are hidden, there are several clips with a rubber protector that support the pipes this is where mine leaked as well as the usual condenser/drier.
