How to wire a set of ford galaxy fog lights

Hello all from sunny Northern Ireland was trying to retro fit a set of ford standard fog lights but to sure how to do it.  I do know that the light can be connected to the switch for the lights etc.. But do I need to wire w relay into the loom some how if any one can answer this question it would be most appreciated I also have a cable for doing the engine lights on Ford/ Vw and Seat cars if any members from here need a hand

Has your car got the wiring in loom for the fog lights,it may have and be taped up somewhere?

If not do you intend trying to fit standard relay on the board and trying to wire up from there or are you going to remotely mount a generic relay to operate them?

not sure about he wiring loom but if it is possible to wire them into a remote fitted relay wold this be an easy job or take to garage

All depends on your capabilities really.

The headlight switch will put a feed out but I wouldn't want to use that feed direct to lamps.

If it was me doing it and it had no factory wiring I would change headlight switch for front fog type as it will have a pin out for the fogs which is supplied from same input as rear fog lights. I would use this feed to power a relay located somewhere behind dash,I would splice in to the rear fog light power supply at fuse board and put that on the common on relay then run suitable sized wiring from switch side down to the fogs in some of that plastic flexible wiring loom conduit. That way they are fuse protected and looks neater,there is a grommet on nearside of bulkhead where wiring can exit the cabin.

One word of warning though you won't have a dash indication light,you may be able to get factory one working but would need a circuit drawing to see how that is supplied.
