so I picked up a caravan today its only 950kg with max of 1250kg it pulled away no problem at all but it wouldn't get upto speed and cried like a baby at any type of incline having to drop it to third to get 40 mph out of it? this seams a little out anyone any ideas ?

That don't sound right at all,get it scanned with vcds and make sure maf etc all working and no fault codes could also be poor performing vnt not allowing max boost.

That sounds like it tipping limp home mode, most likely VNT turbo error. The GYalaxy is a very good tower so something deffo isnt right.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram ?  I was checking my sensors took the map sensore out and cleaned it ( mistakenly) thinking it was  the maf... doh any way strange thing happend my in car temperature read out seam to start working,
well kind of it had been reading nothing (--) for a while then it started reading 50c but after messing with the map sensor it started reading 2c so I was wondering what wire got moved and if it may be part of the problem

Also what is vnt?

The sensor for outside temp is in bumper I think,so probably coincidence it started reading after map removed.

Vnt is part of the turbo it basically controls boost by operating vanes. Google sticky vnt vanes for vw loads of info will come up.
