Hi galaxy lovers
Can anyone help I am having a moment with my ford galaxy Ghai 3 days ago I had to replace the 2 cv joints and 2 ball joints and it cost me Ã,£190 now the light on my computer is saying chech brake pads which means that I need to replace the pads does anyone have any idea what this would cost me as the Galaxy is killing me for some reason.

Thank you for any response

Which model Galaxy do you actually have? Your profile and avatar say Mk3 but on an '04 plate it would have to be a Mk2?!
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

I wouldn't panic whichever model you have - The warning light comes on with at least 1000 miles to go - check the pads out but don't panic.

I got about 10000 out of mine after the light. Means changing the discs too though so if they're decent it's not advised to be so ruthless 🤓🤔

Should be able to get that done for Ã,£80 or so
I drive a Seat Alhambra 1.9Tdi which has 115bhp and an automatic gearbox.

I am happy to help you with all your questions. I am not a qualified mechanic but seem to be better at fixing my car than even the most experienced garages.

I have lots of friends here and very much enjoy talking with you all. Always remember, a motor car is a serious tool and should be treated with respect. Put your safety first, always.
