Hi
could anyone help me please
i have a 1999 ford galaxy and i can not find the right size allen key to fit the front strut so i can change the coil spring which has broken.
thank you in advance

As I think it's an M14 thread on the damper rod it'll probably be an 8mm hex key, I don't think an M14 thread would fit a slot for a 10mm key and have enough strength to be usable. The slot is likely to be corroded though which will make even the right size key hard to fit, at least initially, and the nut a challenge to remove.
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

My advice would be go to a breakers and buy a whole leg , cost me about Ã,£40

As above probably 8mm but like Paul said the nut and strut top are probably really rusty so you will struggle.
Give it a good soaking for a few days with wd40 then wire brush rust to see if that frees it off before trying.
Might end up chopping the cup to remove it though.
