Galaxy oil feed pipe to turbo

Galaxy 03 was driving beautifully, we drove to Calais with no problem, got on the ferry. When we got off the oil light came on. So we pulled over and got a truck driver to give us some oil, got to nearest garage and put 2 litres in then drove on, the car still going really well. Within a few ks the light came on again so we pulled over and it got taken to a ford dealer who says the oil feed pipe to turbo needs replacing. It is a lot of money and they say there could be damage to engine and turbo.  Is it worth fixing? Also the heater is only blowing out hot air and there is no gas in the air con, it seems that it may be a fault in the wiring under dash as it is not a fuse and not the wiring that is easily accessible,  any ideas any one? My options are to get it shipped back to uk, or to get garage to replace oil pipe.

You won't know if any damage until it is running,but as you out oil in and it ran fine then I would say got a good chance it's ok.

Heater wise is it climate control? If so poss stuck blend flap motor.

Air con has it worked recently? There are several things that could cause it need regas initially see what gas in system.

Sorry what I should have said was need to have regas/leak check see why no gas in system. Could well be leaking receiver drier as that's very common.

What makes you think it's electrical problem?

As for recovering or repairing,personally I would get new pipe fitted and go from there as recovering to uk can't be cheap either.

I think it's electrical because the fan works but not the direction nor the temp change

Firstly I would check all 3 plugs are connected correctly on the rear of climate panel,very easy to get out just pop trim off and undo 4 T20 screws.
A vcds scan will show if any HVAC faults,if you have the oil pipe changed maybe see if garage will scan for codes and let you know what's stored?
