how do i extinguish the srevice light please ?

hi guys, sorry to be a pest here but how do i extinguish the srevice light on my mk 2 Galaxy please ? would it be via an obd2 reader or is it an ignition switch sequence thing ? hope you can enlighten me here please

You can do it without diagnostic kit, the procedure should be in the owner's handbook or if you haven't got one see here.

[17 - Instruments]
[Adaptation - 10]
Enter channel 02
[Read]
The "Stored Value" is the current value for that channel.
Enter the "New" value of 0 (zero)
[Test]
[Save]
