ride height

Hi all firstly thanks for quick registration to the
forum. just wondering if anyone has altered the ride height on a galaxy mk2 now i DONT want to lower the car i want to raise the height by about 3 inches or so any ideas?

Ford Galaxy 2.3 mk2 2003 --

There won't be any kits to raise the car by that amount so you would need to look at customising something else to fit or going down the air-ride route.

Raising it by 3inch/80mm is going to have adverse effects on a number of other things though including ride & handling, braking and tyre wear. I would look to increase the tyre size first to take up as much of the gap as possible and then see what you are left with...

How come you want it higher?

Two reasons really a.the road humps round here are far to high and catches front underskirt and 2. i have a spine injury which makes bending difficult and at 6ft 8inches i need an extra couple of inches of height to get in comfortably already got 18" wheels but tyre profile prevents much of a differance oh well was only and idea but doesnt look like there are any simple answers
