Front PDC Removal

Checked out the reference section regarding faults with the PDC system... my front "inside" sensor is not clicking... it looks like it is at fault.

The problem I have,  is that I cannot see a way to get the bleeder out of the trim.  Do I have to drop the whole front bumper to get to the sensor? Or can I pop the trim panel insert?  (Had a gentle bash at this and it looked like this would just damage the trim 

Is there an easy way to get to the front PDC sensors?

The black plastic trims/ strips on the front bumper that house the parking sensors can be gently eased out of the bumper, they're just retained by plastic lugs- ideally you want a broad plastic trim removal tool to ease them out with though to avoid damage/ marked paint. Don't try to move them out too far though- there isn't masses of slack in the wiring to each sensor so just aim to get the trim out far enough so that you can release the sensor from the trim (it's retained by a couple of plastic tabs) and then disconnect the multiplug.

With the aid of an old school ruler, working from the door end, I was able to "pop" the insert panel out and Bob's you uncle.  It's just so easy when you know how!!

My trim in the front bumper is just grey plastic, and while I can just get the end out near the drivers door, and I found that pretty tough going, I can't seem to release it any further. Any one done this who can pass on any tips for releasing this trip panel. I don't really want to drop the front bumper on my own.
