Hello Everyone,   I'm not sure if I have a problem with the computer display in my 01 Sharan, I've noticed at night when I lock the car the display glows red, this isn't noticeable during the day. If I don't use the car for a few days the battery only just has enough umph to start it and the battery is less than 12 months old, when I'm using it every day there doesn't seem to be such an issue.
So my question is, is this normal for the display to glow after locking the car and if not what can I do about it?   Thanks in advance.

My galaxy does not do this once key out and doors are shut it goes out, firstly I would suggest checking door wiring for breaks in case it is shorting across circuits etc.

Yeah it should turn off with the ignition so something is keeping it alive. Door gaiters are certainly a good start point (not forgetting the tailgate). After that I would look at the door open/close switches.
