Hi guys. Just joined forum and typically am asking for help straight away. Many apologies but need some answers desperately if anyone can spare a little time.

Got a 56 plate mk3 Galaxy with an intermittent airbag light illumination. When it comes on I get the code u0140 lost communication with bcm. Can anyone throw any light on a possible repair and possibly a location of the Bcm in a mk3 please.

Many thanks for your time.

Paul

In some cases I think the body control module is integrated with the main fusebox but I'm not sure if that's the case on the Mk3 Galaxy. With that kind of fault code, if it's not a simple dodgy connection somewhere or power supply issue then it's likely to be an internal module fault, which isn't a simple or cheap fix unfortunately.
