Electric folding mirrors- fold when locking?

Hi, new to this group as I have only had my alhambra for about a month. Just wondered if it's possible to set the mirrors to fold when you lock the car instead of keep having to turn the switch everytime you park.

Hi Jazzy, unfortunately there isn't a simple way as far as just turning something on within software goes. I made a relay loop to fold them in/out automatically but I believe it may be possible to swap the controller with one from an Audi to accomplish the same thing - unfortunately I don't have any further info on that. Have a rummage around the net for the Mk4 golf as it uses the same setup.

Well that's a pain. Just seems so illogical that they haven't included it. What can actually be changed via software? Not that I could anyway as I don't have the program and can't afford it either haha.

There are a few things but tbh nothing that exciting, coding options weren't anywhere near how they are today. VCDS is mainly for fault diagnosing and testing on these
