Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a cheaper or cross reference number to use instead of having to purchase starter motor part number 1345313 from a ford dealer, Thanks Mike

If you already have it removed or can see it properly, it will probably have a VW/Audi part number on it and/or a manufacturers part no (ie Bosch/Lucas).

You should be able to get one from a VW or Seat dealer if you want a new one.  There are plenty on ebay, some listings have compatability checkers too.

Mirez will be along soon, he usually seems to be able to find corresponding VW/SEAT part numbers.
