Car failed on various defects today.

Both track rod end ball joints
Both strut top mounts
Both inner CV joints
O/s rear shock absorber. (I'll replace both)

I just wanted to ask should I take the time to change the CV joints or change the whole drive shaft?

Both shafts Ã,£50/Ã,£60

Both CV joints Ã,£20.

I got a cheap J&R Shaft which was OK for a bit, but I wouldn't get another as I think the inner CV joint is going again.

If its the inner joint it's not a standard CV but I tripoidal joint, make sure you get the right one.  I'll be servicing mine soon as it's overdue by a couple of hundred miles now and deciding what to replace on mine.  I'm pretty sure it needs the intermediate drive shaft and I may just end up replacing that (with the Polish http://motomax.pl/eng/motomax-store.html one) and both driveshafts as I intend to run my cars into the ground (or write them off!)
