Rear doors deadlocked

I have a Mk1 Sharan which I recently bought, which has, just this week, suddenly developed a central locking problem.  The key locks and unlocks everything except the two rear doors which appear to be deadlocked.  I have read the forum about resetting the system via the drivers door central locking or child lock button but mine doesn't have either. Is there one somewhere else on the car or am I missing something?

Could be a problem with wiring in door gator or the locks themselves not releasing from deadlock.

Either way you need to get door cards off which isn't easy with doors closed and then you need to try and release the lock manually so you can get door open to test circuits out.
