DVD player not working

The DVD player in my Galaxy is not working, the player powers on and accepts a disc/s, the screens in the back of the headrests display 'reading disc', the player then spits out the disc and the screens display 'no disc' does anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be? Thank you.
