Well I decided to flush the coolant in my 2.0 tdci as part of servicing it myself...

The coolant in the reservoir is red/pink but when I went to drain the coolant from the radiator, a luminous green liquid began to spray out.
Here's a picture of the drain plug I opened: (you can see some of the green liquid that sprayed out)

Is this the correct drain for the coolant??
How could it be a completely different colour to that in the reservoir?

thx
Fergal

Oops Luminous green liquid is the ultra violet dye in the air conditioning system, not aware of a drain plug in the radiator, take the hose off to drain coolant.
