Hi all, I realise that there are a few posts related to parking sensors but I couldn't find one that answered my question so I thought I'd ask.....
My parking sensors do not work, I have sensors on both rear and front bumper of my 2002 galaxy ZETEC 1.9 tdi. I have traced the problem sensor to the forward left hand sensor drivers side (looking from the front). I know this as it's the only one not giving a clicking noise when the sensors are on. My question is, do I have to buy a specific sensor ( as I have seen a few on ebay with different part numbers) or does one fit all? Also, I have removed the light cluster above the sensor and realized that there is not much access to get to it! Do I have to remove the bumper? Thanks for any help and light shed on my problem!
Regards
Steve.

Hi, all my sensors are the same. You should be able to access with the bumper in situ, release the wiring clip then open the moulded clip and push it back through the bumper from the front.

Not quite sure on the above as there is next to no access from the rear?

When I replace a front sensor, I pop the moulded strip out - there is just about enough cable on it to allow for the connector to be released and then the sensor can be changed.
