May I ask what exactly has happened do your interior lights not come on at all or do they stay on all the time even with all doors closed, I have a problem with mine staying on all the time the one at the front I can turn off by the switch but the luggage compartment lights stay on all the time I have resorted to unplugging the light from the wiring harness the funny thing is though when I close all doors the interior lights go dim as though to go off  but don't the only wires I found broken were in the rubber boot at the tailgate but repairing these did not fix the problem for me the only other way I can get my interior lights to go off is if I remove a fuse the green one I think in the fuse box by the battery so wether this is some clue to my problem I don't know but the wires are prone to breaking also in the door rubber boots
