Mk2 Rear Door Speaker +/- wiring colour

Hi, does anyone know the wiring colour, positive and negative, for Mk2 2005 Rear door speakers. I wish to cut the speaaker connector plugs off, join wires together so I can connect a set of Kenwood Speakers. Cheers.

don't do it noooo , never cut the plug off use small cut down spade connectors if necessary or the right size would be even better  ,,, check another speaker or it could be the wire that has a black stripe on the wire that is norm +

They don't publish the colour codes for the speaker cable, but generally VW use brown for earth/negative. If there is a smaller spade terminal then that's also typically the ground.
