ABS Wheel Speed Sensor

I need one of the above for the drivers side front. Can anyone advise me of the correct part number? I've seen a couple of ads with the number 7M0927807C which show 96 to 00 MK1 Alhambra and some which show 96 to 06 Mk1 and Mk2.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mark, i took the plunge and bought one anyway. Will fit at the weekend as well as retro-fitting my fogs. Got a pair of MK2 Galaxy fogs off the bay yesterday for Ã,£1.20

You jammy git re the fogs though - I've still got my old ones in the shed but for Ã,£1.20 I think I'll hang on to them lol!

Jammy in every sense! I have been looking for a while and single fogs normally go between Ã,£15 and Ã,£20 so I have no idea how these went for Ã,£1.20! I guess it was just the luck of the bay!

Fogs turned up today. One has a broken clip on the back and missing condensation pipe but for Ã,£1.20 I can't moan!

It seems all is not as it appears.  The sensor I received is 2 pin on the connector and the one on the car is 4 pin! Can someone advise if it should be 2 or 4 pin and have I been sent or ordered the wrong part?

I recently got a left hand sensor that also has the pad wear lead combined that was part number 7M3927807H the part number for the right hand sensor without wear lead is 7M3927807G from the same supplier, looks like it has four pin slots also.

Humm mines only got two pins - the wear sensors are a separate connector?

Thanks Chris will send mine back and get that one as it looks like what I am after.

Just as a piece of help, the sensor part was well and truly stuck in its hole when I tried to remove it. Any ideas how to get it out? I have soaked it in penetrating spray (I do not use the Alhambra during the week so it has a while to work in) or should I just drill it out?

After you have removed the single bolt you can try tapping it sideways with a small drift, but if it's having none of that just drill it out, be careful not to drill /catch the ring on the CV joint

It wasn't having any of it on Saturday, in a way it was a good job. Will probably drill it out with a slow drill at a shorter depth that the length of the sensor and then try to pry it out.

Well I finally got it changed on Saturday. Had to drill it out and it was a right pain in the ass. Attached is a picture of what was left of it, it was well and truly welded to the hub! [attach=1]
