I am in a bit of a pickle and I think some of you may possibly know
I have found a extender kit and got a 7 day timer for a auxiliary heater, the kit came with a water pump also it is a length of cable from front to back having to route it down the brake pipes the original loom plugs in to it  with one plug and the other plug connects to the heater, there is also a plug for the extra plug for the water pump that you connect to the outlet ( out ) side of the heater . All seems well so far To the battery end there are three fuses and two relays a positive and a negative wire to connect to the battery, red , and brown .Then it goes along the bulkhead and in to the hole near the clutch . I then have three wires to the timer red , brown ,and violet  and s+ which is yellow , red pos and brown net that I know should be connect to said timer also there  are seven other wires from the 7 day timer  diagnostic a dimmer 2  temp gauge wires  two other wires ( ADR )NOT A CLUE what they are dat cable which I presume you donââ,¬â,,¢t connect or use . Then the fan that is just cut red with white red race and connect with the thicker blue and black .
Now the problem I have is it says to cut pin 18 on the climatronic  and connect green to pin 18 then put blue to pin 20 and donââ,¬â,,¢t use the cut pin 18.  , that is hard as I only have a blue and blue green bite trace. Wires left  . Also what wire do you pit to the alarm and brown here is it put to disable the sensors while running the heater. Hope I explained it somewhere near I could do it itââ,¬â,,¢s chatting really also I sa the German instructions you donââ,¬â,,¢t kno the hat the number is or where there is a copy ? Sorry to b a pain but I am lost no oh also when you put battery connections on the pump runs even with ignition off maybe it is a fail safe and when the heat r is finally plugged in it will go off  when mot needed. Many thanks rob  ps put it online too

So firstly the blue connector on the climatronic you need to cut the original red/white wire leaving 2 inches going to pin 18 tape up the original from the loom.
Now connect the cut wire going to pin 18 to terminal 30 of your new fan relay.

Next the red connector on the climatronic pin 20 should be empty you need this wire to connect to pin 86 of your new fan relay this wire is also connects to the green connector P6 pin 13 on the central fuse box, this same wire also goes to terminal 4 white/violet wire on the new control relay.

operating with the engine off the the water pump will start and the climatronic will display the heat symbol and will run until timer or you switch it off
let me know if you need more help.

Do you know how to isolate the alarm ? Can you do this with a wire from easy start timer ? Ps I owe you a beer

Can you remember the colours of the wires on your loom to climatronic ? Can you remember if you only had three wires going to timer red to red brown to brown and purple to s+ yellow ? And finally do you still have a copy or number of literature that came with it ? Ps I have a extra water pump on mine at the rear now on the outlet side

Hi Rob No the answer to this is the 2nd part of my first reply see below.

When you say colours of the wires to the loom are you talking about the cars original wiring or the new wires added.

Yes only used three wires, permanent live to the red, brown is earth and yellow live signal.
There are other wires with the timer but I didn't use them.
You say you fitted another water pump at the rear, are you saying you have two pumps now?

Don't know anything about pin 23
Disabling the ultrasonic sensors when heater is on without engine running is what you are doing when you add the wire to connector P6 pin 13 this is the green connector you can see the green connector when you pull open the dropdown flap on the fuse box.

Hi sorry I had been up at work for hours should of been pin  13 re alarm .
Yes there are two electric water pumps now , the second is a Bosch unit brushless fitted to the outlet side of the auxiliary heater it allegedly helps the newer heater not cook the onboard and helps circulation . I finally got to the bottom of the pump continuously running it is a wire on the extender loom that should not be there . This makes me think it is a copy loom and not genuine one . Re wires the blue with white goes to pin 18 and blue only goes to pin 20 , I will be wiring this  in now first chance I get and see what happens and get back to you  , fingers crossed thanks rob .

Hi again . I have connected the blue  to pin 20 the green to pin 18  I have a problem where the timer says no signal I have red to red brown to brown and yellow sig + to violet as my instructions on the controller, the red white fan relay is split and red and black from relay make the circuit . With ignition off the water pump runs continuously, not a good start the water pump and heater starts when engine starts , the fan stays on in car once you turn ignition off have you any ideas i think it mite be  be a controller wire wants changing  round

Rob can you send a picture of the wiring diagram you have followed for all of your connections, I have the Eberspächer diagrams for the Galaxy, Mercedes Sprinter, and Mercedes Vito.
As my kit was specific for the sprinter the wires were a lot shorter as the sprinters Eberspächer is in the engine bay. I only had red colour cable to extend the wires from the large relay under the car to their destinations, I don't want to confuse you by just sending you mine.

I only got what I have previously put plus the two other emails  it seems like the switch wire is being ignition fed rather than timer thread what colour wire was the switch wire to turn heater on and I can trace it back ?

Hi Rob looking at your pictures the fuse box, fan and water pump relays were pre wired are they also pre connected to the controller relay? I have not seen the controller relay in any of your pics?

The colours that's been used don't match up with the Eberspächer diagram so it may be a case using my diagram to follow each wire [attachimg=1]

see how you get on.

Hi Rob

Just looked at your kit on prokes web site.
It doesn't look like it has the controller that the genuine kit has so there's going to be differences.
I see the fan a water pump relay and fuse box is pre wired so I would have thought it would have been easier, I had to do mine from scratch.
