I wish to supplement the lighting on my Galaxy with a couple of Spot Lights on the front. (Cibi's if possible).

My work takes me down some very dark country roads at times, and even though the lights work, there always seems to be a dark spot in the middle when I put main beams on.

Is it possible to fit any spots to the front of a Galaxy? Is anything such as a Bull Bar available anywhere.

Galaxy 03-plate 115 Ghia.

Regards,

Andy

This is something I've always looked at doing to my galaxy, but never got around to. Coming from a ralllying background I fully appreciate the usefulness of spotlights. The problem for me was always the shape of the front of the galaxy. I've always run large spots on my rallycar, (9" plus usually like cibie super Oscars etc.). I feel that they are just too big to mount without looking stupid. If I were to fit some, I would look at something like a KC Daylighter. They are only about 5" in diameter but do offer almost equal light output to larger spots.
On the other hand, bullbars are available for them so if you fitted one, large spots wouldn't look out of place mounted to that.
Hope this helps
James

Thee are a couple of bars available but I personally think the Galaxy is just too sloped at the front for any of them to look decent. Everyone I have seen just makes the car look bad - see below!

Have you considered one of the LED lightbars? They are slim enough that you could mount it directly to the lower grill

lol classy beast ain't she! lol

I actually don't have a problem with bull bars per-se, but some vehicles just dont suit them what so ever and the Galaxy is one of em... I saw a mondeo with one on years ago and likewise, no no no!!

Not only does the above make the Galaxy look like a prognathous whale, it is also doing a pretty good job of blocking the intercooler.  So not only ugly but useless as well.

Fitted a roof bar to mine then bolted a 350watt  cob led light bar to it instant daylight  8-)
