A helpful friend who borrowed my Galaxy a couple of months ago managed to lose the remote key - luckly I had managed to add a second transponder to the spare cut but not programmed key i was given with the car with Forscan as at that point i had the original key (you can add keys as long as you have an original one to start the process with this way). I have got a key blade to fit a remote and a chip programmed for it, but have now tried 4 remotes off ebay and cannot get one of them to actually unlock the car using the instructions to sync them - the lights all do what they should do (the one on the door comes on, the process on the key of holding lock and pressing unlock causes the remote light to flash slowly).

Does anyone know of a sensible way of testing the remotes separately?
