2004 MKII 115 Zetec 93thou

The front passenger seat seems to be somewhat high
and unlike the drivers seat it has no height adjustment.
My son mentioned it and when I sat on it had to agree it felt like I was perched
a bit higher then I liked.
Kind of like I was sat 'on it' rather than 'in it'

Perhaps I should add we're all on the tall side in our family

what are my seat upgrade options?
Any models in a scrappy I could get some lusher plusher comfier ones from
that would fit one for one ?

Matching colours isnt a problem, car too old to fret over stuff like that

Only thing I can thing is try to get a drivers seat from a left hooker,as far as I am aware the front seat mechanisms are the same with exception of standard or captain seats and different material.

If they are the captain seats they will have handles on both sides of the drivers seat. My current one has height adjustment though i think even my mk1 Aspen (bottom spec) had the height adjustment so I think they would all have it on the drivers side. Theres also a large plate with a hole through the middle of it under the seat, so should be easy to identify them. I don't really see the point of them myself though.

Higher spec should mean more comfortable seats, the old ones in the aspen had much harder seats than the mk2 I've now got (the single unmatched 3rd row seat it had was much more comfortable than the rest of them as well).

They both have adjustable arm rests on the inner sides ( captain seats?) and 'turn table' things
which are never used.
I have my drivers seat as low as it can go and not really unhappy with it,
just wish I could do the same with the passenger seat.

A LHD drivers seat sounds a good idea and could be worth looking out for.

Then all I'd need is leopard skin seat covers or something equally tasteful  :P

The turntable thing is the captain seats. I think the idea is you can use them when parked to have a picnic or similar in the car. I can see some benefit to being able to swing the seat around to get in and out of the car if you struggled to do so, but the way they operate makes that somewhat limited in its usefulness (as you've have to rotate it back to be able to shut the door).

I think they all have an inner arm rest on the front seats - The Aspen did have, and if that had them then the rest I'd expect would do. The single boot seat i had for that car had them on both sides as well.
