Front Wipers / Wahser

Hi

Was fine until the recent snow and even after clearing all the snow off the car the wipers were working fine.

later in the afternoon it appears that the front wipers only have stopped working. there is no sound as if it was struggling. the back wipers are still operating fine. Fuse 24 is fine.

What i did notice is also the front washer is also not working. there is no sound that it is trying to pump the water like i normally hear. although when i try to use it the back wiper starts as if the washer has worked.

is there something linking the 2 together which could have happened or is it a case of having to go through diagnosing the front wipers. ie teardown etc.

Check fuse 33

33? which is this supposed to be as on my mk2 this is for aux heating

Changing the 33 fuse has fixed it as that was blown. Thanks for the solution.

does this mean there is a fault elsewhere for this to blow or is it all interlinked?

Always the one to check if we've had snow

The handbook doesn't list it as being allocated to the wipers as well as auxiliary heater and air conditioning
