Does anyone know how to get the wiper linkage in a mk1 sharan?

Not sure what your doing here?
1. Do you need to dismantle the linkage, is it seized up
2. Are you just refitting the assembly to the car.
3. some other problem.

With VCDS lite (full version) need a code clearing or want to scan for faults in the north kent area, PM me. All for a pint of Strongbow.

I am trying to refit it but when i put one side in the other doesnt have space to put it in

So is it the original linkage or is it from a different vehicle.

It is the original linage, i took it out because i was replacing the heater core and i cantget it back on

It's not something like the linkage has moved on motor making more difficult to get back in?
I can't see how it won't line up as it came out of the car ok?

It was a really tight fit to get it out and no it hasnt moved

when you removed it you say it was really tight to get out, don't suppose you could have bent it could you?

I am not familiar with mark 1 and can't really make out picture on phone but is it possible to loosely fit one side and then be able to manoeuvre the other side in?
