Hi guys,
2 months ago I bought the car and sometimes on a motorway driving with constant speed of 80 mil/h (on cruise control) after 70-80 miles epc light comes on and it enters limp home mode. The car is with LPG system. The fault reads p0101 mass air flow implausible signal. Sometimes there are also 01166 - Engine Torque signal (16-10 - signal outside specifications - intermittent); p1152 - long term fuel trim additive air, bank1, range 2: system to lean (someone told me that this fault is caused by the LPG); p1165 - long term fuel trim additive air, bank1, range 1: system to rich (same as p1152: someone told me that this fault is caused by the LPG). I read in other topic: https://www.fordmpv.com/smf2/ford-galaxy/maf-galaxy-2001-2-8-v6-auto/ that the problem with the p0101 mass air flow implausible signal was fixed with new genuine MAF but before taking this step I'd like to be 100% sure that the MAF is defective. Yesterday I've cleaned the MAF with CRC MAF cleaner and I ran live data to check the mass flow values. I got:
680 RPM (idle) - 3,5 - 4,5 g/s
3440 RPM (5th gear part open  throttle) - 36 - 37 g/s
6200 RPM (WOT) - 122,36 g/s (this was the maximum which I got during the drive)
So my question is if those values are correct (especially the last one with WOT) for the MAF or not. (by the way sometimes in idle the RPM are playing up and down)?

I haven't dirven vr6 engine before and I don't know its behavior but it seems to me that in the low RPM (1600 - 3000) the car has good torque and acceleration but above those RPMs the car does not accelerate so well.

P.S. My other problem is that in WOT the whole car is shaking/vibrating inside.
P.S.2. I'm from Bulgaria so please excuse my bad English.
Thanks guys.

Hello and  welcome5 and very good English too.

I can't help with the figures but your fault codes and symptoms are very similar to those on a VW Passat that I have just changed the MAF sensor on, engine running very smooth now especially when ticking over and no lights or error codes.

The vibration may or may not be connected but I would certainly check driveshafts/CV joints as these are common fault for vibration.

Thank you Chrispb,

so you believe that I should go straight for new MAF?

I would certainly replace the MAF in the first instance.
