Hi, Has anybody removed or replaced window glass in rear door? I have got door completely stripped down all ready for glass out, but cannot work out how the bottom plastic pins release so that I can remove the glass! Cheers Dave

did you post the details for the method of unclipping the glass for removal, i have similar job to do, i could do with the correct procedure so i dont damage any of the plastic clips, thanks

Hi, Firstly Door card off! remove all the small Philips screws from around and underneath the door card, then go to the door handle here you have to remove the metal chrome type plate from the handle to access the screw inside, I used a very thin putty knife to prise the metal plate off be careful here because the plastic is easily marked! then you need the door handle pull undoing get a small sharp needle type pin punch and prise the small plastic round disc out from behind the handle then you can see the screw holding the whole handle and window switch in the door card prise this out, you are now ready to lift and remove the door card, Leave the window switch connected to the door and just sit it on the floor, now go to the black plastic trim that sits around the inside of the window frame and carefully prise it off until the whole thing comes away from the frame, you are now ready to use the switch on the door card to lower the glass to the bottom of the door so that you can get to the plastic clips that hold the glass in the regulator, I had problems with mine at first trying to prise the clip open while lifting the glass up to clear the round plastic pin that holds it in place its a bit fiddly but it does eventually move, I used a small flat blade screw driver to spread the clip while lifting at the same time, once you have both clips released you can then lift the glass out of the frame! and that's it, cheers Dave
