ive bought a secondhand as new towbar
anybody got an idea how to fit please
thanks

I took one off mine and got to be honest not too bad a job.
Bumper off which was just a few screws and clips if memory serves correct.
The bar was connected to some brackets that were inserted and bolted through chassis by where shocker bolts. It looked like the holes are pre drilled from factory?
The wiring all went through a grommet on os and wired in to loom going to the light there.
Have you got twin electrics? If so will need a fused wire from battery running down, mine went along length of car clipped to brake pipe. Had I fitted it I would have run inside car under sill trims and out the grommet.
Once you have bumper off and look at rear of car it will be fairly self explanatory, one thing I will say lower exhaust of mounts and rest on a stand as it makes doing n/s bolts a lot easier.

hi, ive had a quick look, looks like the bumper has a re-enforcing bar quite chunky.
does that come off with the bumper or leave that on ?
also were are the screws located to remove the bumper ?
cheers

Mine hasn't got the bumper iron I think that gets chucked when tow bar fitted.
From memory under rear lights and a couple through arch splash gaurd.,then it sort of clicks in by quarter panel and a little tug released it

sounds about right, will have a go in morning
im just single electrics for small trailor
thankyou
