this is my first post for what has been a pretty trouble free car....2007 2.0 TDCI Galaxy
suddenly we have lost the left hand indicators
the indicator bulbs are all OK as they work using the hazard light button
there must be a relay or fuse that controls the indicators or it may be the stick
does anybody have any thoughts please before I visit the Ford Dealer  :( :(

I had the opposite problem, ie the parking lights on the left irregularly came on of their own accord and next morning a flat battery. After several visits to Ford Dealers in the UK and France none could offer a solution. I bit the bullet and ordered a new indicator stalk, only Ã,£48 fitted and resolved the problem. One lesson I learned was that after a flat battery the Security system would not release the starting procedure. The trick is to disconnect the +ve battery connection and short it to earth for a few seconds. This removes any electrical charge in the central processor and other electronic bits.
