oil leak

I replaced my injector loom a few months back. It was a used part, it leaks oil now where it fits into the engine. I'm sure it had to rubber O Rings on it. Is there anywhere I can get new O rings for it?

Neither Ford nor VW list the sealing ring on the injector loom end connector body as a separate part I'm afraid. Looking at some pictures of the loom I'm not so sure it is 2 separate O-rings that form a seal, it looks like one wide sealing ring with a recess to me, I think you'll struggle to get an O-ring the correct size to seal it properly. If the leakage is minor and the seal isn't completely shot you could try some silicone sealer (of the same type that is used to seal sump pans etc) around the connector body flange next to the seal where it seats against the cylinder head to try to seal it, otherwise, the cheapest new parts on are around 65 quid........

I have not long had my wiring loom changed but can't for the life of me remember what was at the connector end.

I bought a used one for Ã,£35 lol

I thought about sealant but wasn't sure if it would work. It's only a slight leak more of a seep lol

Is it a specialist sealant or will one from B&B work? Lol

I'm not sure if standard bathroom silicone sealant is up to the job because the stuff used on engine parts needs to be oil and temperature resistant- something like this.
