i have had the stop coolent warning on the dash turned of the car re started and all ok any help

There's a sensor on the rear of the coolant expansion bottle which monitors the coolant level, it's possible this sensor (or at least the electrical contact/multiplug onto it) has become intermittently defective, you could try disconnecting/reconnecting the sensor a few times & make sure the terminals are not corroded/opened up (you'll probably need to unbolt the bottle from the plastic trim it's secured to in order to access the connector) and see if the fault goes away, if not you may need to replace the sensor.
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

missed this first time round

had same problem
that was the fault
cleaned up connection
no red light since
