2001 Galaxy Brake Pad Light On After Pad Replacement

I recently purchased a 2001 Galaxy 2.8v6 Auto. I have replaced the brake pads and discs all round. After replacement the pad warning light is still illuminated and the "Check Brake Pads" instruction comes up on the cluster when the ignition is switched on. I have put split pins in all the plugs, but the light is still on. This model has sensors on all four wheels, so it looks like a wiring problem. I have checked all the fuses. Are there any known issues. Is it possible there could be a problem with the wiring in the front footwell as the rear washer pipe had come apart and the floor was wet, I remember the pipe came adrift on my Alhambra.

Its a ground loop so you should be able to test it fairly easy with a volt meter in continuity mode. Put one of the probes on a ground point and then measure for gound on the two pins - each pad sensor is in series with each other so start at the front and find which side has ground, short those pins together and then check the other side again.
