Hi
I have a 2001 galaxy 1.9 tdi ghia there is no warm air coming thru the heater system, I have checked thermostat that is working ok, the aux water pump is working ok as well, the engine comes up to temp a lot quicker than it use to be for I had this problem, and then stays at normal temp, on long runs and above 60mph warm air will come out of vents, but cools down as soon as speed drops. if this is the water pump is it an easy job to do?
thanks

You can check the impeller of the water pump if you remove the thermostat again and look into the opening.
Replacing water pump requires removing timing belt so it's a good idea to change pump and belt at the same time.
