May have been asked before but the search function is not working. I have a Galaxy Pd115 diesel 112k. Can I use a 5w30 which is Vw505.01 approved. Thanks in advance.

Howdy!

If it meets spec 505.01 then it should be fine, though I thought the usual oil viscosity for the PD was 5/40- see here.
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

Hi all the oils I have used in the past are 5w40 but we have started keeping this now in my work http://totalengineoils.com/quartz-ineo-mc3-5w30/
