really need help pleeeeease
I purchased a 2000 mk2 2.3ghia galaxy from a mate  >:(

The speedo doesnt work. the fuel guage moves when past under half way and keeps beeping
the rear passenger passenger side doenst work and drivers side rear electric window doesnt work.
the parking sensors dont work either the beeps works when you put the car in reverse but thats all and the light just continously flashes until you turn it off.
also cruise control but not to worried about that

just to fix the speedo would be nice.
I have replaced the instrument cluster and I have replaced the speed sensor on the gear box (genuine ford parts)

I have no personal experience of this but I have read accounts where there was an earth problem with a connector in the engine bay causing instrument cluster problems (presumably the cluster earths through this connector)- see this.

The parking sensor problems could be due to a flooded well under the front passenger seat which soaks the parking sensor control module, or it could be a duff sensor or wiring- see here.

There is also an article in the reference section covering non-functioning cruise control on the 2.3 petrol. As for the windows, could be a number of things but broken/ shorted wires in the wiring looms where they pass from the vehicle body into the doors (within a rubber gaiter) is a common cause of a number of electrical faults- door locking, windows etc, check for wiring damage.
Always learning..... Often by mistakes!

Thanks for the advice I will try all these cos the garage want Ã,£500 because of explority work to find the problems
